Privacy Policy

KedgePoint Advisors LLC

Effective date: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information KedgePoint Advisors LLC ("KedgePoint," "we," "us," or "our") collects through kedgepoint.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If something here is unclear, email us at the address in Section 13 and we will answer.

This Policy covers the Site only. If you become a client, the information you share during an engagement is governed by your engagement agreement and the confidentiality terms in it.

1. The short version

  • We collect information you give us when you request a consultation or subscribe to our emails, plus the basic technical information every web server records.

  • We use it to respond to you, send you the emails you asked for, and run the Site.

  • We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on the Site.

  • We share it only with the service providers who run our scheduling, email, and hosting, and when the law requires.

  • You can unsubscribe, ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it at any time.

The rest of this Policy is the long version of those five lines.

2. Information you give us

When you request a free initial consultation. Our scheduling form, provided by [SCHEDULING TOOL NAME], asks for your name, email address, phone number, company name, and a short description of your situation, and may ask for your company's approximate revenue range and your role. You decide how much to include in the description. Please do not include confidential financial details, personal financial information, or anything you would not want stored by a third-party scheduling service.

When you subscribe to our emails. Our email signup form asks for your email address and, optionally, your name.

When you contact us directly. If you email us, we keep the email and your contact details so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

3. Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you viewed, the time of your visit, and the page that referred you. This is standard server-log data. We use it to keep the Site running, diagnose problems, and understand in aggregate which content is read.

Cookies. The Site uses only the cookies required for it to function, such as those that remember a form you started or keep the Site secure. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics trackers on the Site as of the effective date. If we add an analytics tool in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent before it loads.

Our third-party scheduling and email providers may set their own cookies when you use their embedded forms. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policies, linked in Section 5.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not track you across other sites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We treat such signals as a request not to be tracked, which is already our practice.

4. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Schedule and hold the consultation you requested, and follow up afterward.

  • Send you the email content you subscribed to, and occasional emails about our services and related topics.

  • Reply to your questions and keep a record of our correspondence.

  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.

  • Understand, in aggregate, which articles and pages are being read.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only in these situations:

Service providers. Companies that perform services on our behalf and are permitted to use your information only for that purpose:

  • Scheduling and consultation booking: [SCHEDULING TOOL NAME], [link to its privacy policy]

  • Email delivery and list management: [EMAIL SERVICE PROVIDER NAME], [link to its privacy policy]

  • Website hosting and content management: [HOSTING / CMS PROVIDER NAME], [link to its privacy policy]

Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, court order, or a government request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or a security incident.

Business transfers. If KedgePoint is merged, acquired, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred to the successor as part of that transaction. We would require the successor to honor this Policy for information collected under it.

With your direction. If you ask us to share your information with someone, for example an advisor you want copied on a conversation.

We do not sell personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is used in California law.

6. Email marketing

When you subscribe, request a consultation, or otherwise give us your email address, we may send you email about our content and services. Every marketing email we send:

  • Identifies KedgePoint as the sender and includes our mailing address.

  • Has a subject line that accurately reflects its content.

  • Includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

We process unsubscribe requests within ten business days, and usually immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional messages, such as a confirmation of a consultation you booked or a reply to a question you asked.

We never send email on behalf of third parties, and we do not rent or sell our list.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to:

  • Consultation requests and correspondence: for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then as part of our business records for up to [three] years after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case your engagement agreement governs.

  • Email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, after which we retain the minimum record needed to honor your opt-out.

  • Server logs: typically [90] days, as set by our hosting provider.

We may keep information longer if required by law or to resolve a dispute.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including transport encryption (HTTPS) on the Site and access controls on the systems where your information is stored. Our service providers maintain their own security programs.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own risk. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Washington law and any other applicable law.

9. Your choices and rights

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can:

  • Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email we send.

  • Ask what we hold. Email us and we will tell you what personal information we have about you.

  • Ask us to correct it. If something we have is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

  • Ask us to delete it. We will delete your personal information unless we need to keep it for a legal reason, in which case we will tell you why.

  • Decline to give us information. The Site's articles are available without any form.

To exercise any of these, email [EMAIL ADDRESS] with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will confirm your identity using the email address we have on file and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act gives California residents rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. KedgePoint may not meet the thresholds that make the CCPA apply to a business, but we extend these rights to California residents regardless. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (company name, revenue range, your description of your situation), and internet activity (server-log data), as described in Sections 2 and 3, for the purposes in Section 4, shared as described in Section 5. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of that authorization.

Residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws. If your state's law gives you rights beyond those listed above, email us and we will honor them to the extent they apply.

Visitors outside the United States. The Site is operated from the United States and directed to a U.S. audience. If you visit from outside the U.S., including the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from yours. By using the Site you consent to that transfer. If you are in the EEA or UK and want to exercise rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, email us and we will respond; our legal basis for processing is your consent (for email subscriptions) and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiries and operating the Site.

10. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to third-party websites, including the sources we cite in our articles. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. A link is not an endorsement of a site's privacy practices.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Site, our tools, or the law change. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights or expands how we use information already collected, we will tell you by email (if we have your address) or by a notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
